Default Hard top bolting kits

I have been offered a hardtop for my s2000, but seen as my s is a 1999 Japanese import I understand that I may need some sort of adaptor bolt-on kit. Can anyone tell me what is required? Is it difficult to fit?

Get the parts from Jeff or Joe at Hardtopguy www.hardtopguy.com - call or email them. I have a list of what you need somewhere. In fact it is on that instructions Fraser posted

It is pretty easy to fit, you will need 2 bodyside catchers, 2 hardtop front strikers (these are harder wearing than the soft top strikers) and a hardtop sub harness. I have just done the job on mine and it took less than 2 hours to fit the parts. The wiring for the rear screen can be a bit more tricky. You should either have an unused 4 pin connector behind the passenger seat rear panel or a 3 pin connector in the boot on the passenger side behind the panel next to the spare wheel. Mines an early JDM and it was in the boot. There should also be a green 5 pin connector in the center console for the switch. If you have the center console with the little storage hole, as I did, you will need the switch holder as well and have to slightly modify your console to fit it.

If you're prepared to make a small wiring loom yourself and do away with the connectors it is easier and you will save money. Let me know if you need any help on that.

It will be hugely cheaper to buy the parts from Hardtopguy.

Good luck.
