Default Happy Birthday to me

and you're all invited to the party

Had this car for over 3 1/2 years now and in my almost 30 years of driving, I can honestly say I've never had a better time owning a car (and one that has depreciated so slowly). Do get a bit obsessive at times and there have been the inevitable dealer induced glitches, but that's all allowed, as I drift towards senility.

Is this the oldest S on the board?

It's a shade older than mine. Her fifth birthday in a few weeks. I think my VIN is #361 if I remember.

I bet the first 50 cars were written off by journos who have complained about the twitchy suspension set up ever since

I think that Paul(UK) and BSM 139 - Bharat may beat you on age. They are both the original owners as well.

So, close but not quite the oldest (but it has only done 23k) Never mind, I'll have to concentrate on being the oldest owner instead - will that mean I'm going to have to drive more carefully to make it into OAPdom? Sod it

Mine arrived in August 99 but wasn't registered until 1st September. It was the 50th car in the UK. Just had another MOT and passed no problems.....
Enjoy. I am!
