Default Had a Veyron moment...

It felt weird!!! Was popping in to M&S to get some lunch and as I crossed the road....

A black and orange one with a big CF wing LHD crusing through the square by the office.
two arab looking youngsters chilling in it wearing designer threads and plenty of bling. Driver had hair in ponytail and bluetooth headset on.

I cannot experience the feeling as it rolled past.. hair stood up where i didnt have hair, I know it sounds stupid but a thousand ghosts walked over my grave.

It had a logo on it, italic or arabic that was 3 identical symbols (looked like 999 or ppp or 666). Logo was on rear number plate, or rather was the rear number plate and was also on a rear qtr panel if I remember correctly.
Reminded me of the photos of the car meet in dubai where they were rolling the cars off the flatbeds and they had logos on. Can someone post that link (you know with all of the supercars..?) as i would like to compare it.

Have been reliably informed that sheik Maktoum's family have just taken delivery of two Veyrons in the UK - can only assume this was one of them.

This week's autocar was on about them - UK has an allocation of 15 IIRC, so perhaps these are "just off the boat".

Hope they follow the running in procedures

What a waste of a fabulous car. It'll probably never be used properly.

It should be confiscated and given to Clarkson or Needell so we can see it every week

Having seen one in action at Goodwood, and despite the lack of presence when parked...they are fabulous cars

I'm not sure a lack of cash would be a barrier to the acquisition Rich.

I hate seeing stuff like this poncing around in cities, never to see the open road.

I bet most of their drivers are agoraphobics.
