Thanks for the kind words chaps.
Being the boss, I have the luxury of shutting up shop early. It's usually dead on Thursday afternoons anyway as all the local and many of teh Indian companies are closed.
I'm not fussed about the car to be honest - I'm a pragmatic person and what's done is done. It'll get fixed, I'll pay the excess blah, blah, blah.
I have some good friends out here that have already been in touch but I seem very alone here now without my best mate - the missus.
Pull yourself together James and get a grip for f*cksake!

So you settled out of court then?
Actually it was odd - the guy got out, glanced at the seriously deranged bumper on his Cavalier and merrily said, 'oh good, no harm done' and was off!!!! (damage to my car - new bumper, bumper mounts and bonnet =

I wasn't totally to blame as 'she shouldn't have pulled out' but equally, I shouldn`t have been a tool and rammed her up the arse.
I was in the same position as the taxi driver once..... slight hesitation 'should i or shouldn't i' dilema..... then WHACK !!!! Bird in a 206 smacks my Corrado bumper..... her front bumper = Destroyed !! My rear bumper on the otherhand = Nothing !! Hardly a scratch. Thats Veedubs for you.
It's just the whole rigmarole of sorting shit out...specially when you're not the right frame of mind in the first place. Lets just hope you get your motor back asap and things get better with the missus so we all can be smiling on your behalf !
Keep it real

Sorry to hear about the problems mate. I am sure the car will get fixed soon enough but feeling like an idiot even because of someone elses driving will soon be over. As far as the other half is concerned I hope that too works out for you in due course and a short break might actually help whatever tension was building up. Best of luck mate.

Sorry to hear it. (Asterix' probs, not the anal intercourse double-entendre!)
We've all done it, it teaches one to look where one's driving and not at the scenery.
It is an occupational hazard for driving instructors, who, despite the cars being emblazoned with signs, regularly get rear-ended.
Oddly, it's usually the car behind that gets destroyed, due to dive from late braking.
So it's a hard lesson well learned.
