Default Had my Geo done today

What a difference!!

Had it set up to Honda spec at local 4 wheel laser allignment place. Every single adjustment was out of spec, some by quite a bit. The rear wheels were both pointing slightly to the left!

After all the adjustments were made everything is now back in spec and she drives SOOOOO much better. Much more stable, lots more grip even rides the bumps better. It also got rid of the crashing noise I had from the rear suspension over short sharp bumps!

I'll post a pic of the readout when I get chance but it basically went from all reds to nearly all greens :-)

It's just the rear camber that is slightly out of spec but by a very small amount, i'll let the experts on here advise if it's going to be detremental in any way but the garage says it is fine :-)

The really good news though was that the underside of the car was really clean with very little corrosion and all the bushes were free and in good condition :-)

I'm a happy man and already used nearly a full tank of petrol enjoying the new set up today ;-)

Great !
sounds like money well spent.
I had a day off yesterday and removed and copper-slipped all my suspension bolts
They all came out OK. (50k miles MY2002).
Next job is having it set up but I'm not sure where to go in West Yorkshire (Wakefield)

Sorry to be cheeky but what did it cost? Need my geo checking, and last time I had it done was at CoG which is a hell of a drive from Billog.

The S has really tunable suspension settings and I have most of settings set to one end (on Chris's from CoG recommendation) which gives more grip at the rear and more settled braking and cornering on bumpy surfaces.

You need some more rear camber

It cost me £70 which I think is very reasonable... I will get the geo done again soon once I have fitted my coilovers and specify more rear camber. What is the benefit of more rear camber?

Oh well, looks like I've not got such a good deal. On a positive note it has improved the feel of the car dramatically and I have to get it done again once the new suspension is fitted. Next time ill take it to one of the more trusted geo places and get it done properly...

It looks pretty decent to be fair, but the rear camber is out of the OEM spec.
