Default Grooved Brake discs recommendation

Been using Bremtech discs for the past 3 months ish and they perform great, however, I am after some grooved discs to replace them.

What can you recommend that performs better, wont rust up and look shoddy and aren't stupidly expensive

You'll be lucky to get a combination of not rusting up and inexpensive.

The Dixcels will do what you want, but they are expensive. (Although they won't really perform "better" unless you are on a racetrack).

if it's just for bling (as I suspect ) then you could try the MTec https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/108...ed-brake-discs

They'll just eat your pads quicker and can give a nasty vibration as well.

I had grooved Stoptechs for a while but took them off after wearing a set of ds2500s out in a few months and 2 wet trackdays.

Another vote for MTec. Iv used them for years on my civic. The last set if got for the S2000 was Bremtech plain from HEL.

Don't see the point in them unless the car is being tracked on a regular basis.

As it has already been commented by Ap1-Nazi, Grammar-Nazi and Winifred: they eat your brakes, rust as all others and are fairly pointless (unless tracked)

Look pretty though!

Two options from Dixcel.

SD – Same as PD with additional braking power of 20%, great for the more enthusiastic street driver
Front - £210
Rear - £156

FCR FS – Same as FP with the addition of 6 slots offering the ultimate braking performance.
Front - £336
Rear - £270

Both are zinc coated to prevent corrosion.

The three basic points of slots are; about 20% overall braking performance, 30% more pad wear on street and more dust. Oh and they look cool..

Let me know if you have any more DIXCEL questions.
