Abolished the requirement, for the man with the red flag to walk in front of your vehicle to warn of it's approach............

Added cycle lanes to either side of the road and marked a 'no-go' centre strip, thereby concentrating traffic into narrow carriageways and increasing the probability of accidents.

And cyclists don't even pay road tax!

Created Motorway bus lanes, and the planned introduction of automatic prison for doing over 100mph on the motorway, whilst releasing the average sex offender in under three months! This country makes me sick to my stomach, generate revernue so it can be pissed up against the wall by incompetent officials, and its the local police officers I feel sorry for, they are the ones on the sharp end of the stick....

Rant over just....

Nick.

And the buses are competing not only against each other, but also the railways. The railway companies have to maintain a huge private infrastructure, whilst the coaches are free to dominate any road, for relatively low taxes. They wonder why no-one uses the railways, which they then allow to fall apart
