For those who missed the Granny dounuts on Top Gear, I taped it and will cut a bit to a avi format tonight. I'll try and upload tomorrow. Was excellent.

Very funny and supprisingly easy. However the girlfriend saw it as well and now want's me to cancel the car order.

More importantly did any one get the plate number.

I know that the S is meant to be driven hard but was it designed to do doughnut and be driven into fields. Dont want some poor person to buy a thrashed motor with a well abused diff

Clarkson used a silverstone S2000 for donuts in his "100 best cars" video too, I think - his commentary couldn't have praised the car more.

Maybe the S is just the best for that kind of stunt ?

I don't doubt that it is, Dan. All I'm saying is that we, as a group, wouldn't be talking about it if they'd used a different car.... ergo the "stunt" was pointless and irrelevant to what I had always assumed was a "good" car prgramme
