Yes.
But I am getting old waiting for HUK to do something.
It's not up to HUK to do anything.

You bought the car from a re-seller, an independant franchise didnt you?
So in that case your contract is with the Ltd Company and not Honda UK.
Wasn't this in another thread?

Gave the car back got a full refund without any problems what so ever, the process probably lasted about 5 mins tops. Straight in to my account.

So I must conclude that the trader is very good and reliable.
I doubt that.

He will sell it on to another unwary buyer, or chop it across his trade connections to another garage (most likely).

Well done for getting this sorted out. You go through a range of emotions when something like this happens and instead of feeling fantastic over your purchase you end up totally stressed!

Your next purchase (hopefully still an S) will now be made with a much wiser and experienced head and I'm sure will be worth all it all.

All's well that ................

glad you got your refund with minimal fuss.

I wouldn't praise the trader just yet...I have no doubt they'll try to flog it on to someone else without carrying out all the necessary work.

It would be interesting to see what the Trader does with that car.

My guess - off to auction, sold as seen

Drive it through the dealers window and say you couldn't steer because of the fault :-)

POST THE REG!

I bought a T4 that had been unsafely repaired, sold as a "beautiful example"... only got my money back after initiating small claims court proceedings. So I think it went well for you! Congrats
