Can't understand why some folks have problems driving in the wet! Maybe depends on how one drives in the prevailing conditions! I've had no problems yet that have not been caused by my own stupidity at the time!

Poor driving as you suggest, but also low tread depth I suspect is just as common.

If you got low tread depth then the rule still applies!

Adjust your driving to suit!
