No screen, but they'll kindly sell you one for 70 quid.
To be fair you don't really need it for that kind of thing, you can pretty much tell what you're going to get.

See if you can get a wide-angle lens for your camcorder - I picked a cheap one from Ebay for about £15 for mine - worked a treat.
However, I think I'll be using my phone for Modifry-mount recording from now on, along with the aLapHD app.

Good quality! I need to get myself one of these
Not to be a killjoy, but the Police do look at these forums and they won't hesitate to use you video footage against you if it suits them.
I speak from experience BTW

Thought I'd just update this thread, speaking to Dan, I've landed myself a gopro2 also and thanks to Dan's advice got myself an external mic coming and ordered the skeleton shell (will be using the gopro out at sea so need a water proof case, so alas no drilling of holes!)
used one of the flat adhesive mounts on the secret compartment lid and it's a great angle (just like Dan's). I am getting a little bit of vibration from the lid itself but read up on here that a good fix is to use a cloth and then shut the lid to keep it tight..
looking forward to no more winter tyres to have some fun in 2012
