I ordered a new Gopro HD Hero 2 thingy after deliberating over whether or not to buy a camera, just in time for doing a drift day at Oulton next weekend.

I've had a little play with it and the quality is excellent. You can also take pretty good quality stills from the video!

That was taken from the 1080 video....it looks great full screen. I'll probably refrain from uploading the full vid for obvious reasons

1080 is impressive. I like the long range shot. I use an HD Sony camcorder and it's alway a bit too zoomed in for my liking.

Yeah it looks great, thats a 170° wide angle...it'll also do narrower angles but I like this one.

I've ordered an external mic for it though as the on board isn't the best.
