Default Good quality non rusting wheels nuts

Hi,

I'm wanting to some good quality wheels nuts that don't rust for aftermarket wheels (so m12x1.5 tapered?).

Can anyone recommend any reasonably priced ones?, i guess the most i want to pay is ~£80 for 20.

Cheers

We are inventing some new nuts now, if you are on Facebook you might see them on our page.

If not, you can see some here if you are on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1108652&type=1

Still under going a lot of testing but its in the final stage now. We just had a new prototype from the factory few days ago with the long version nut only weight 17 grams. When the testing is all ready and safe to use for the road then we will release them. Probably another 4 weeks time.

Price is gonna be high, gonna be around 4 times higher than normal aluminium nuts but we give lifetime warrantee on them. We are using Titanium 64 Alloy Grade 5 for the nuts, it is the highest grade Titanium material you can ever get. Those are the same material used in Aerospace engine component.

A good strong Aluminium 6061-T6 yield strength is 241-300Mpa melting at 600c and the Ti 64 Alloy Gr5 is 890Mpa to 1100Mpa melting at 1300c.

But you will never find any cheap aluminium nuts using that high grade aluminium I listed above anyway, you are buying them cheap but will have to buy again because they are so soft and will oxcidise from Water and heat . With Titanium you buy it once and they will last you forever.

I have some of the rays wheel nuts. They have lasted well, I most of taken them on and off hundreds off times I use impact equipment on them and torque him hard. They have some nasty marks on the exterior but seem structurally sound still.

I was tempted to get my hands on Dixons nuts ( as im sure you and MB are) but i think he may be asking a little too much for the sweet sweet pleasure

I have the Tegiwa nuts (obviously) and I've been on track with them, swapped wheels maybe 5 or 6 times, no issues at all. Even fitted them on OEM wheels with A048s on when I forgot my OEM nuts for a track day like a retard.
