I have Alpine HU and Focals (through the stock loom, no amps), and they sound good.

I've also got an old JL amp / sub combo.

Check the prices though. The speakers seem a smidge high.

Thanks guys! The ICE experts across the ponds seems to like the Audison amps, I am looking for a 'cleaner' quality sound, initially i was worried that will be 'overkilled'!

one of the best upgrades I did to the ICE when I had mine was to fit some smaller speakers into the headrest - someone posted a thread on it a while ago - dead simple to do - took me all of an hour including running the new speaker cables - even found a bit of leatherette cloth to cover the back of the headrests so it didnt stand out too much.

I think a bit of research through the forum, u will find most people prefer upgrades of front speaker and a good amp would be far better than a rear speaker. Obviously if u re on a budget, this can be a good option.

At the end, I hav decided to go for Focal speaker and Alphine HU above with Genesis instead of audison, but just

What sort of a difference will these (monster looking - will they fit in the door???) speakers make? Are they a lot louder/clearer than stock?

Not sure why they are recommending the 130V2 speakers as they're only 13cm. I have Focal Access 165A1's (16.5cm woofers) in my doors.
They told me only 130V2 will fit. 160 wont fit!!
