Good brake pads or caliper and pads
My yellowstuff pads have been ok to be fair but will need replacing soon, i already have ad08r's which are good tyres and I'm thinking maybe just good pads will be suffice for the road?
Any suggestions? does a really good pad help braking distance and feel?
Thanks

Pads won't really help with braking distance (although better pads stand up to repeated heavy braking better).
For the road, you don't need anything other than the OEM pads which are pretty cheap nowadays from Si at Hendy or Cox Motor Parts (avoid Tegiwa as they are more expensive).
The Dixcel Z pads are awesome if you want to do some track work, don't dust up too badly, and work form cold but are probably a bit overkill for road only use.

Thanks input guys.
Interesting Alex, I'd say with Yellowstuff but interested in trying something new, I'll put up with some brake dust for sure but not excessive.

The Dixcel ES Pads might be worth a shout too. http://www.dixcel.co.jp/en/pad/pad_es.html Burn! Motorsport sell them https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/1086647-dixcel-brakes/

I was using ES pads on the track with no issues at all.
Currently I'm on Z type pads at the front and ES at the rear with Dixcel 328 fluid. Braking performance is excellent with no fading what so ever.
The only issue I have is that my wheels are white so...brake dust repaints them black after a track day
