Good BMW smoke off...
Had a great "bye bye" with a Bling MW 328i Coupe last night... i was really surprised how well the S faired actually as i'm no great buff on cars and performance, just wanted to give it a go as the guy was obviousley up for it.
I had the roof down and man the sound from the BM gearbox as he clanked thru it, all to no avail though.
Just wondered how big a BM this thing will eat?

Should do a 330, but be careful as they've got the torque. Easier for them to put their foot down and catch you out. Over a fair distance you'll do them though.
If it's wet, have a go against a breadvan at the lights - make sure it's not newer than 2001 though cos they have TC

It'll take 330s and 530s but if an M guns it, forget it. You are ok from a stand but when the speed picks up it gets a bit messy.

Also from my experience the S is dead even with a manual 540i-I did that along a fairly wide country road-nothing to separate the cars with both of us caning it on the straights but not taking risks at corners. Impressive that the S can keep up with a car with a 4.4 litre V8 and comparatively huge torque figures.
He also had 4 people in...
