My passenger had some difficulty with the upper compartment when at 70mph on the A1 they very kindly popped the boot for me thinking there was some magic button to get it open!

Instant downforce!
LOL

Yes they then tried to blame their actions on a "design flaw".

I quite agreed.

I'm amazed every S2000 owner doesn't spend half their time driving around with the boot open. Lets face it, how easy is to accidentally open a door behind you then seek out and press a button with a rather good illustration of a boot being opened on it.

I bought my car off a girl who'd owned the car for about 5 years and never knew that top compartment existed! She was gutted when I opened it up!!!

Now, whats this about an outside temp gauge? Cos that would be useful at this time of year!!

Nope, empty - but then she didn't know it existed so wouldn't have put anything in there I guess!!

So how do people manage to get locked in their cars?!

Although it was only the other morning that I noticed the outside temp guage flashing, that's a new one on me and nothing about it in the manual.

It means one of three things.

1) Could flash while the sensor is calibrating itself - I first noticed it at startup

2) Could flash when the guage drops to 3 or below or if the temp is low and you Vtec-Yesterday I noticed it flashing as I approached a junction this was about 15 minutes after I started the journey and I had just Vtec'd no VSA light

3) My electrics are fooked
