I have a dent and stone chip in my bonnet too - can that be knocked out/removed, or is it a bodyshop job?
Decent dent guy should be able to do the bonnet on your driveway.
However there are parts on the bonnet they cannot get to (inch around the edges roughly) so if like me your ding ir in the main central area then it is possible.

Mine was really bad - a proper ding rather than a gentle dent. The paint had chipped too. He popped it out without further paint damage and I then got a freebie drop of paint in there from the local bodyshop

The dent guy that did mine actually does the local Honda dealers dings. He goes once every week or whatever and does them in bulk. Have a word with your dealer to find out who they use - I'm pretty sure they all have a regular dent man to do their trade-ins / accidents etc
