Default Getting Dings out of Aluminium

Picked up a hardtop yesterday and found a couple of Dings on it.... The guy knocked some money off and fitted it for me... It sits fine however I hate dings so wanted to know if they get be massaged out with a lever? I know small dents are easy to get out but wanted to know if this the same for Aluminium?

The bonnet is aluminium and I had a real bad ding in the middle of it. The first dent guy couldnt improve it (no fee) the second dent guy got it out 100% therefore it is possible but all comes down to the skills of the dent guy since aluminium is much harder to work with than steel.

Not sure how they woul get under the skin on the hardtop Sure they will find a way..

I have a dent and stone chip in my bonnet too - can that be knocked out/removed, or is it a bodyshop job?

I had a look at the hard top and the lining pulls back... you can remove it... I am going to leave them till the spring time and then i will drop it down a body shop for them to fix.... Last resort will be filling and spraying it...
the top just looks like it was badly stored... it fits like a glove though... not warped which is what i was most worried about!

depends on the dent, if its shallow then no problem but if the metal has stretched its not so easy to get it right
