Center of Gravity

I have never been myself but I am booked in on the 14th July.

Book yourself in but also check your tyres. Check the presure, the sizes and the tread. Make sure you have the same tyres on the same axis and you should be ok till your visit to Center of Gravity.

Now that the issue has been brought up, I was wondering if any of you gentlemen could confirm that the UK geometry settings for MY99-03 in the FAQ can be applied to MY 03 s2k that has swapped wheels to 04 OEM (17in).

Thanks in advance.
Yes they can

Or even better, go to Chris first and then get new tyres.

Chris can read your tyres to help find out whats wrong with your car.
I thought that Changing tyres makes a difference to the Geo as the car is ajusted to get the right amout of tread on the ground etc so you Should get it done on a new set what arnt worn, rather than leave the unevenly worn ones on and change them after the set up???

Seams to make more sense to me

Not really. The optimum setup will vary according to tyres, yes, but you can't sensibly allow for that, at least not without going lots of times.

If you go along with worn tyres, Chris can get information about the way you drive and the current setup by looking at the tyre wear (one of the things that makes going to Chris a lot better than Honda or most others).

Thanks everyone, some useful info there!

After my hols in a couple of weeks, I'll get the front tyres changed, and book it in at C of G. I'll also take the old tyres with me for Chris to have a butchers at.

I think I also might have a leaking valve on the nearside rear tyre, I'll get that sorted out before taking it C of G too.

I can see me going and getting four new rubbers at this rate!

Si

Sorry, forgot to ask how much it'll roughly cost at C of G?
