Geometry 00 vs 02 vs 04
So I've had the "04" geometry done on my 04 car by 2 Mills Honda and I'm not convinced it is any better.
They "forgot" to print the settings out - so cannot tell me what is on it
Looking at the 01 settings and the 04 setting in the FAQ
Wheel alignment from 2004 workshop manual
Item Measurement Qualification Standard or New Service Limit
Wheel alignment Camber
Front at inspection −0

IIRC the new and improved settings for the MY00 were a bit 'softer' and I heard they resulted in greater tyre wear. When I had mine done, I kept the original settings, coz I'm dead 'ard me!

OK - time for a dumb question.
I thought all new 04/05s came with the optimum geo as standard....?

My understanding is that the "optimum" settings are safer, rather than performance orientated - again I might be wrong.

I've not met an S2000 quicker than me so it just proves that the MY04/05 is the quickest (as is RNBP the quickest colour).
On a slightly more serious note, the above is true. There may be quicker S2000 drivers out there but I haven't met them. All this stuff about which is better is utter cr@p. Virtually every driver on this board (probably including myself) is NOT good enough a driver to prove once and for all which is best. Because there is no best. For example all the F1 drivers prefer different setups, as do all theh BTCC and WRC drivers. There's a set up which is quickest for you, but that may not be the "optimum" geometry.
I'm sure I'll get shot down in flames for this one, but I don't care as the above is all IMHO.

Sundance nope not according to the settings in the FAQ the "preferred" Caster and Camber settings are the same across ALL years.
