Default Geo Setup

Last week it was time for two new front boots, I had noticed some camber wear on the NSF so decided to have a full geo done, the guys at A1 bodmin have the full laser kit so I got them to supply the new bridgestones (£120 each including fit and VAT). As I had the boots from them the check was free and they only charge for the stuff that needs adjusting, no set price! Simon the tech invited me to watch him do the job and ask any questions. Needless to say the S drives perfectly now I will be having this done at least once or twice a year (we got some mean potholes down here) Hats off to A1 Bodmin and thanks to Simon.

Looks like a wise decision! Initial settings all over the place. You'll feel more confident knowing its right and it will drive better.

If you plan to go back in the future and they are as friendly as you say, you could ask them for tighter tolerences, and maybe increase the rear toe a little, but don't worry nothing wrong with what you have now!

A suggestion for next time, but of course its up to you, settings are down to the individual:

Caster, camber within 0.1 of deg (0.05 is do-able) of target, and rear toe within 0.7mm of the target total toe.

(BTW target factory settings for a 2006 car are zero front toe and 3.7mm rear toe)

Enjoy your new car!

It's near enough.

That 5 mil of rear toe-out was a tad extreme, even for me. Especially with 4 mil on the right. Liked going left a bit, did it?

Here are mine, setup courtesy of 9meister in Warrington (Porche specialists) 2 weeks ago £80.00 .... bear in mind that one of my rear adjusters is seized so this determines the rear settings to some extent. My car absolutely planted with these settings, but they might give an idea of what GavB was getting at .. and as was said, don't worry your settings are good right now .. as Nick says it is likely not to keep pulling you left at least!!!

Stick another 0.5degree neg camber on the front of that and I bet it feels even better

Thanks for the comments guys, Nick you are dead right, there is a spot near where I live with three drain covers just where I want to be heading for VTEC, the back end wanted to do a bit of a shimmy but now solid as super glue.
m1bir, will bear that in mind for next visit.
I was s*****g myself in case anything was seized as thats loads of money on bushes!
