I have got to have my compliance bushes cut out too hopefully like yours it won't take too long. One of my rear ARB drop links has completely fallen to. It's so it's no longer connected, maybe I should do all of them!

Looks great! Sorry I didn't make it but I have an exam today and I have been studying like mad all weekend!

Just one question - did you apply any grease between the lug mount inner faces and bush outer faces?

It is highly preferable that whilst the collar and bolt are clamped, the bush should be able to rotate about the collar (which means that the collar should protrude from either side of the bush by a very small amount).

This allows correct geometry and prevents deformation of the poly bush over time.

It looks like you did, but it's hard to tell whether it is copper grease or dirt or rust!!

And after 500 miles, i'd suggest popping back up to see how everything has bedded in

Mates dad has a Woody which is an utter beast of a thing - he drives it as well which is nuts considering the size of the car, the mpg and the value of it!

Wish you guys weren't so far North - i don't mind paying for work being done, it's the 'helping out' that's fun and not so many garages let you do that these days

Ron - i only put thhe toe arm bushes together and only applied grease to the flat sides of thhe bushes. Is this whhat you meant?
If not, do you think that I'll have bush problems in the future?

Ang has reassured me that grease was applied.

Toe arm should be fine the way you have done it too, Andy!

Got this exam in 2 hours - better be worth all this feckin study and missing the weekend...
