Simple enough request - anyone know where I can buy Honda MTF oil?
I know I need not change it - only done 9,000 miles.
I know I can pay Honda to use some unspecified oil.

It is very odd. Most people on the oard are incredibly fussy about using genuine Honda parts for most things. My car is a personal import from Europe - looked down on as cheap by many people. But yet when you ask where can you get genuine Honda gearbox oil - the oil that keeps a highly stressed gearbox working - more vital to the cars longevity than the much debated old Zaino/Zymol question - then no one knows - it seems. Most people here know their agents do not use Honda engine oil. Most people here do not use an engine oil meeting Honda's recommendation - 10W30. My agent does not use Honda oils at all.
Yet we all seem to accept this. Oil, in my view, is one of the cheapest parts for a car that affects its longevity.
No matter - I can find oil - but I am astonished that no one here knows.
Please - no more use another oil - get Honda to do it - you do not need to change it yet posts! I know they are meant to help - but that is not addressing the question I am asking.
