Thanks,

I've just measured my plug gaps with feeler gauges and all 4 of them are 1.1mm. I'm sure this is too big. Does anybody know what they are meant to be?

Thanks guys!

Nick.

Apparently 1 to 1.1mm is right. They look bigger in the pic! Trick of the camera.

I'm really miffed now! I've got to get to the bottom of this! I hate that 'put' sound coming out of the exhaust! I could get the coil packs checked I suppose?

Anybody got any ideas? I don't think it's worth me getting new plugs if they are OK!

Thanks Bibbs! I'll be able to check tomorrow once they've been bench tested. Hopefully, ot for my wallet, they'll show up a problem!!! Anybody else any ideas what to do next?

Nick.

Bibbs, I don't think they've ben leaking. I looked on the NGK and Denso websites, both say that corona is perfectly normal on modern engines and will not effect the operation of the plugs??????

It is rather funny that I had misfire codes on cylinders 1,3 and 4. If you look at the photos, 1 is on the left, 4 on the right. Only cylinder 2 didn't throw a code, and it's got the least corona!?

C7BLE - No hair line cracks at all, I've just checked?????

What type of injectors does the S have? that postal service gave prices for them.

Have you changed your maf sensor or whacked it?
