Default Geese, all the convertables are like ants

As soon as it gets warm thats it, They are swarming all over. Got the lid off a week ago, started taking advantage of the dry weather, just used the heater when it was chilly, excellent! Today driving back from work spotted six convertables. Watching the traffic from where we like, I saw eight convertables within five minutes. Where they all coming from.

Went for a drive later this eveining when the sun was setting (roof down) all the convertable bar one had there roofs up.

We got more money than balls in this country, as said earlier this week, whats the point of paying a premium for you convertable if you got the roof up all the time.

Me I got the nickname TinTop because I had the HT on in late September at a meet, my problem is I don't have a garage, we live in a flat so space is a premium. The lid stays on through the winter but come spring I will find a home for it by hook or crook and I enjoy every second of it

I read a statistic somewhere a while ago that said the UK had the highest sales of convertibles in the whole of Europe!

The statistic I heard was that there are as many convertables sold in the UK as the rest of Europe put together

It has been touched upon in another thread, but I belive that the UK has a brilliant climate for top down driving, not to hot, not too cold. It is very rare for a whole week to pass without me driving topless.

I do believe we have the best weather for them, cool and pleasant. A convertible in Phoenix on a summers afternoon is just blame horrible, trust me I know!
