You fitted and mapped your own supercharger didn't you? I'm surprised you'd need help to replace the gearbox oil, it's a very simple job compared to the mammoth task you undertook. As the others have said, slacken the filler before removing the drain bolt, I did the exact opposite back in the day with an Opel Manta and couldnt get the filler bolt out, ended up having to remove the box and drill out the filler bolt and re-tap and die it, it was a right royal pain the a$$!

I'm a lazy sod nowadays though and would rather pay someone else to have gearbox oil dribbled down their forearm.

Correct, yes surprisingly I've never changed gearbox oil before, didn't expect it to be rocket science but always worth asking before you do any job you haven't done before to prempt any issues. I changed the oil this morning with no issues.

P.s. There is no way I'd even attempt to fit a supercharger, I'd end up fitting it upside down or something.

Was really easy to do the oil change, I'm happy i asked as the pump made life easier and the top bolt was a bitch to loosen - i think the tools who did it in the past must have tightened far too tight.

I'd recomend using a torque wrench when tightening the bolts. The alloys quite soft, and you don't want to over torque it and make it seep.
