Gearbox/Clutch?
Hard acceleration in 2nd then into 6th. Very often get a crunch even with cluctch fully applied. Not always though.
Also, moving the gear lever into 5th doesn't feel as 'right' as the other gears and has once or twice felt stuck in 5th or hard to apply 5th (like 1st feels like when engine is cold). This is a lot rarer than the 2nd to 6th crunch though.
Is this anything to worry about? or just a case of trying to go from 2nd to 6th too quickly?

If you are accelerating up into the high end of the tach and shifting from 2nd to 6th, your gears are spinning at such vastly different speeds, that I'm not surprised that something doesn't sound or feel right. Do you get the same sort of thing if you just go up through each successive gear to 6th? If not, then you have just confirmed what I just said. As for the 5th gear "stickiness", if this happens normally (ie. NOT when you skip shift) then you may have a tranny problem. This issue has been brought up on the forum in the past and required a tranny repair. However, this is by no means to say that this is what is wrong with your tranny. Only your mechanic will know for sure.
ps. If 5th only feels like 1st when 1st is cold and goes away when warm, I wouldn't worry about it. Those who needed repair reported that they could not engage 5th at all at any time.

IMHO, I don't think changing from 2nd to 6th is good driving technique and, in any case, I'm pretty sure I've read before that the synchromesh can't handle that properly. One other consideration is that by moving across the gate such a long way in such an unorthodox fashion, you may be 'catching' reverse?
As to the rest.... what xviper said
