Default Gave it a good tickle yesterday

So yesterday I changed the engine oil and filter again and decided to do the gearbox and diff oils too while I was about it as I'll be sticking a fair few miles on it next week.

Feels lovely and smooooth now however this morning my drivers side window "auto" element of the switch has failed and the battery seems like it's on it's way out so it's back to Halfrauds when they open.

So it looks like more tinkering for me today...

Any ideas if stripping the switch down will reveal anything or am I looking at a new one?

Still, I'm enjoying the tinkering.

The auto function fails cause of the battery problems you have. You can reprogramm it easy. But you have to change the battery cause this will happen again if you don't. Nothing to be scared though just nee reprogramming. Just follow these steps

Auto Window Function Fails

When your battery is disconnected, the auto function on the drivers window can stop working, this is because it then needs to be reset.

The car has to be started!!
1. push and and hold the window button down all the way until its completly down.
2. when its completely down, let go and push it down again and hold for 2 to 3 seconds. then let go
3. now pull and roll the window up until its all the way up.
4. when its up let go
5. pull the button up again for 2 to 3 seconds.
(after step 2, he said you should be able to hear or feel the motor or something inside reset.)
6. now then your autoscroll should work correctly.
