Garden ornament
Tomorrow I'm going to have the most expensive garden ornament imaginable delivered - otherwise known as a brand spanking new 54 plate S2000 without all the relevant paperwork so that I can't legally drive it
Cockup in communication from dealer to me to insurance company means I will have to wait till the following day. Still gives me the whole day to pull the stereo and replace it with a better unit, new speakers and hard-disc MP3 player; couldn't have imagined pulling it to bits before even driving it!!
Even sadder is that I'm getting my 'other' car back on Saturday from restoration - a '69 MGCGT (according to rolling road about 180bhp, and thast's only at 3000 revs) - the neighbours will think I won the lottery Don't know which to run in first though.....
Now for a question - does anyone know of a decent dealer for servicing in the North-East, the only one's seem to be Springfields and their seem to be universally panned; maybe the question should be which is the least bad of all their branches.

Welcome Jester
Whereabouts are you in the NE? The only decent dealer we've found was in Kendal I can't recommend Newcastle or Gateshead branches, and I know some that wouldn't recommend Sunderland or Durham. Problem is they've bought out all the dealerships in the NE.
If you want to avoid Springfield - Stockton or Carlisle are probably the best bet. I've been recommended to use Carlisle by another S2k owner. Will try them next time if my car ever gets sorted
BTW Do you fancy coming for a drive on the 26th Sept?

I can understand how you feel.
I bought my S on a Friday and collected it on the Monday (it was in stock). It felt like the longest weekend of my life
Congratulations on a fine choice of colour - the tide is turning.
The future's fast.
