Will I pass the emissions test with no cat on an HKS hi-power exhaust? I know Kitkat said he did with one of his cars imported from Japan.
It passes noise test only. You will need a cat.

If the OP was in the US forces and happened to be at either Lakenheath or Mildenhall then they have their own Gas stations on base along with schools, supermarkets and a golf course.

I am with US forces just to clear that up.

Any advice on "good" cats for s2k's with exhaust, if there is even such a thing as a good one?

You could try PMing US NFR S2K, although he's not around much.

I think he's US armed forces with an imported S.
Cheeky b@stard! lol

I'm on here everyday....the wifey always gets irritated. I just don't comment much.

Matt...Welcome to England! I'm at Lakenheath....I only live about 45mins from Molesworth. Don't worry about the MOT, if something fails, fix it....to pass anyway and the road tax is re-imbursed and the cost of gas ...purchase on base and not on the economy, unless you absolutely have to.

The folks in the S2K.UK forums are great....you'll have a blast here!

If you need to borrow my stock one to pass your MOT let me know. It's currently on the car but it's a quick swap. We have a decent auto hobby shop on RAFL.

Will you be picking up your car at Lakenheath?

My fault. I'm not around enough to know whether you are or not. That's what I meant. Honest.

Hey how's it going? Sorry for the late reply I've been really busy. Thanks for the info. Can I fix MOT discrepencies on my own time and conveniently at my place or at a hobby shop or do I have to leave it there and do it there at the port?

I have no idea where I'll be picking it up because I haven't shipped it yet. I had an issue with paperwork but I'll be on my soon. Ride height is worrying me because the shipping company mentioned something about it.

Thanks so much for the offer, I'll keep it in mind. When i find out my cars pick up location I'll let you know.
