Default The fun begins Sunday

Well the long wait is now over, my MCB arrived
at my house on Wednesday and is absolutely stunning !!.

The only problem now is that I cant drive her until
Sunday 1st September 2002

I will be down the pub on Saturday night,
I won't be drinking though
because I'm going to take her for a blast at 1 minute past 12

Good news! I should have a few drinks tonight though while it still does not matter too much. You'll enjoy the motoring on Sunday, but will you have to wait for VTEC?

You and me both Mollyslip.

I've gotta wait for the dealership to open at 10:30.
I'll be camped on his doorstep before then I can tell ya.

Sadly I'll only have her for a week's play and then I'm taking a two week vacation in the USA.
I bet I'll be looking forward to getting back home and into the cockpit. Might try and get some nice polishing bits & pieces while I'm over there.

Roll on Sunday...

I just can't believe its arrived and am now the proud
owner of an S2000. It really is 100% better in every aspect
than i had ever hoped for. Everyone loves it, i had to drive
it to 4 different locations on Sunday so my friends could have
a gawp !, shame that !.

I've only done 90 odd miles not going any higher than 4-5k revs and i can
feel the engine loosen up already.

A couple of questions though, my temp gauge reads 3 bars, is this normal,
and if imported like mine from Verhagen, delivered by CCs how long does
it take for the vehicle reg form (V5) to arrive because i need it for registering
my car with Honda's, Dont i ?.

A very happy Mollyslip.

3 bars on the temp gauge is entirely normal and is standard operating temperature, Mollyslip.

Yep - 3 is fine. Don't try VTEC below 3 bars (when she's run-in, of course !)
Glad you like her. Post pics if you can.

Congratulations

After you've done your 600 miles & entering the world of VTec, remember that you have to have the three bars on your temperature guage otherwise the car won't VTec & you'll get a nasty shock.

Bharat

I will certainly post some pics soon, but I must clean her first.
Thanks for the temp gauge query, I have bought some Ford 10w-30, I take it this is an acceptable top up oil.

Oh !, how could I forget to mention the looks !!!!!!!!! drove through Windsor town center yesterday afternoon, peoples necks
were creaking as I drove past, double takes, you name it the car gets it. I am now trying to keep that big grin of my face, I fear it may become permanent if I don't find a solution quick !!.

No one at work new I was getting it, I think the word JEALOUS springs to mind !!!!!!!.

I am so pleased, thanks to everyone's input on this forum because it was the discussions (good or bad) that made me buy one.
