Fuel Gauge Problem
Hi guys
Had a nice drive up north this weekend, terrible weather but roads where fantastic.
On the way back, filled up full tank... done about 140miles (fuel gauge was about 3 bars above half tank at this point) fuel gauge decides to shoot back up to FULL!!! switched car off and on again, still full... i have now done a further 10-15miles and the gauge is back to half way point.
Anyone ever experienced that before? something wrong with sensor? Thanks in advance for any information regarding this issue.

Seems familiar, I had a similar episode. On one occassion I had one bar at start of journey then the gauge shot up to three, after a few miles dropped to zero and fuel warning light came on. It's like playing fuel roulette, the gauge isn't the most accurate I'm afraid.
