I don't know about newer models, but i'm pretty sure the MY99-03 doesn't have a second one.

The tank filter is it!

I know this theads a year old. But Isn't the assembly the secondary filter? Otherwise why would they have the huge black thing. Y not just the bracket and filter. Imean a thin brass bracket itsnt exactly that much heavier than the plastic assembly? But I don't know. I haven't had a look for my fuel filter yet. But it's due.. Any threads with answers? Or diys yet. I've tried the search. Still searching lol.

Yes it is, the enclosure contains a filter, on the end of the fuelpump enclosure there is a suction sock. The serviceable item by honda is the sock.

i think in US fuel filter shouldn;t be replaced at all.
only if fuel pressure gets too low.

local dealers here tend to do it at 30,000 km and on my friend's S they scratched a lot of interior during the process.

i'm not going to let them touch it !!!
