Has anyone else replaced their FRONTS ?

My car was bought used from a Honda dealer in November with 15K miles and top condition tyres. I checked my pressures yesterday, 5K later, and I have pretty bad wear, ie: no tread, on the first-third inside band of both my front tyres. The rears are still fine.

I guess this is just bad set-up / toe-in or incorrect pressures, but am interested if everyone elses tyres are wearing evenly.

Ta,

Dan

I've had two sets on mine, due to some bastard stabbing the first set. I've covered about 16K, with 5k on the first set and 11k on the second set. Had no problems at all.

The only wear mine have is from when they melted at Abingdon airfield!
Inside wear is strange. Get the alignment checked if you have been ruuning the correct pressures. Hope it wasn't a bent one that they have repaired badly. The number of big crashes I've heard about is well into double figures.

Daniel, did you give them the full spec of the Bridgestone, to get same OEM spec. rather than general spec of tyre?

mine are fine after 9k miles. suffered after my first trackday, where they blistered, but they quickly sorted themselves out. like paul, i have another track day coming up, so it'll be interesting to see if they survive that.

My fronts are fine but my rears are like F1 slicks...After 1 trackday and 17,000 miles.

I am handing my car in on Saturday to DW in Winchester. They will be replacing the rears before resale.

Still have no date on my new Blue S2K yet.

I have been quoted just around
