not sure buying the bush and having it pressed in would sit well with the extended warranty, then again if they wont pay out anyway then its a mute point i guess.
If i have to pay i'm looking at

They need to redo the whole geo.

Can the other garage that did the geo confirm that none of your suspension adjustment bolts were seized?

I would absolutely get all the adjustment bolts pulled out and greased/copper slipped as part of this work. You will save your self 000s in the long run.

The castor bush is definitely a wear and tear part.

My car had one gone - not sure on the other as Honda replaced my other front arm for seizure problems when they replaced my dampers (long story)

The car I got my replacement arms from had no seizing or corrosion, but both castor bushes were on their way out - you could see them starting to split.

You can get a new arm from hardtopguy

The problem with putting Mugen or Spoon bushes in is that you have to change the bushes in both front arms.

I got the work tool room to press my new Mugen bushes in, but I work in a big manufacturing plant, so it was no problem for them.

Tip: Make sure whoever puts them in, matches the arrows up to the old bushes
arr sorry about that, so you can get a new arm but not new bushes,

Honda will not sell you any new suspension bushes for the S2000. This has been a bugbear for quite some time now. Especially since the price for a new arm is over twice what the Yanks pay.

HUK promised to look at this years ago but keep ducking out of it. Very disappointing

How different are these bushes to the OEM ones?

I had one of my front bushes split which was picked up in an MOT. I had to get the entire lower wishbone arm replaced to fix it. However, i'd also taken out a 2 year extended warranty and the work was covered by this so it ended up costing me nothing.

It was a bit of a result really, because reading into the small print in my extended warranty it was limited to 2 years or 25,000 miles. I was 3 months inside the warranty expiring but had done 28,000 miles in that time so they could've easily refused.

They are apparently harder, but I haven't had mine fitted yet (next month) so I can't comment on how they effect the steering.

I think Dembo has them.

I have them.

The front feels a little bit more together, but it's not radical or noticeably worse ride. And that may as much because they're new as anything else.

Having seen them next to OEM, there isn't a huge amount of difference.
