Default Front to Rear Tyre wear ratio

I am on my 4th pair of rear MZ's but still on the 1st pair of fronts and they still have 3mm left.

Anyone have this on their cars?

Before anyone asks the rears wear nice and evenly and the car has been CG'd 3 times since i have had it.

Haven't got through that many yet, only covered 7k since buying but i'm getting that impression! My rears are down to 4mm after 7k and the fronts are still on 6.5mm!!

I presume it's normal!

Usually about 7k rear/9k fronts, probably down to driving style.

How much rear toe are you running?

Its a good idea to swop your fronts on their rims when you replace your rears as the setup tends to wear the inner part of the front tyre

That;s a lot of rear toe Robin, especially on an 04.

I'd be looking at halving it to 0º30.

Do you do lots of motorway miles? Lots of toe plus motorway and your tyres will last 5 minutes.

For the most part, I think I've got through twice as many rears than fronts. It's a shame you can't swap them round.
