Default Front OEM Spoiler Can it be plastic wielded?

I cracked it on a kerb a few months ago still not got round to getting it fixed. I got a quote the other day from a body shop sprayer / repair garage. They said around

good question, december/jan I think

I think they used fibre glass on the back and then resprayed it. You can't tell the difference from new to be honest

If the crack is small and clean, spring the gap slightly apart and apply Superglue from the rear. Hold join together until set, about 30 seconds. Leave for 24 hours and then apply a patch to the cleaned rear using a plastic solvent (preferable) or Superglue. Then all you have to do is get the bit re-sprayed and you have saved a fortune.

Putney,

this is coirrectm u can weld some plastics, but not all.. Quite common in the biking world due to road rash.... pick up a bike mag, there are normally details of such repairers in there.

or i can get you details of a bloke who does it up this way.. got my mates bike repaired and re-sprayed - top job it is too. PM me if needed.
