Default Front Numberplate Attachment to Holder

Just noticed that my front numberplate hasn't been put back centrally in the holder after my car went to the bodyshop recently.

Does anyone know how the numberplate attaches to the holder? Is is just a couple of self-tapping screws I can undo, re-centre the 'plate, and screw in again? Or is the 'plate bolted to the holder, meaning I'll have to drill some new holes in the holder?

That looks so much better, is that an easy job? What about the holes left in the bumper?

I will be replacing the number plate surround and plate on mine tomorrow - will try to take some pics of all the fixings

having said that, I don't plan to drill the plate - will use sticky pads

Yep it's easy. Remove front bumper (easier than it sounds, a few bolts and a couple of screws) unscrew the holder on the inside and refit bumper. There are two holes left that you need to cover somehow, I made a couple of caps myself and just painted with touchup paint, and stuck them of with trim tape. It's fairly easy to improvise something.
