Just phoned em for a quote
No go on track day cover
If you're an existing policyholder then you are not affected on renewal
One less company to choose from

That is the last of them then! Just to be sure phone back and ask again as they initially told me no track cover and the next one to answer said it was covered.

On a slightly separate point, would next weekend's Academy Day at Heyford (see 'Meets & Events') be classed as a 'Track Day'?
Does anyone know if you would need extra cover for this? I am with Frizzell at the moment.
Sorry to be OT, maybe I should be posting this under the relevant thread

No expert but I'm with Frizzell and it tends to depend on how you describe it. "Track day" may trigger a "no cover" response. However, as I did for the Academy day, if you describe as a driver skills event with no racing or timing then they were OK........although that may now have changed??.

Frizzell don't cover you if you're on a track and being timed. I.e competitive track day type scenario.
If you're on a academy day you should be covered. But then again it's pretty unlikely that anything untoward will happen, so don't worry about it too much.
