Honestly it isn't that hard.

If you have silicone spray, then spray some onto a cloth and gently rub into the rubber surrounds.

With a tube of the stuff, dab a little on a tissue/cloth and massage it into the rubber.

Yep mine is a 100g too, HONDA part number 08798-9013 pretty sure it was under a tenner, I can't imagine paying £30 for a tube of grease so it certainly wasn't that expensive
