Fluid capacity and visc confirmation
I need to change the brake fluid, but can't confirm the capacity of the brake system. Will 1.5 litres of fluid be enough to change it thoroughly?
Also, I am going to change the tranny and diff fluid with Redline fluids.
Are these the correct products to order:
tranny: MT-90 (not MTL?)
diff: 75W 90 or 75W 90NS
Cheers in advance

That is a very handy sheet - but it does not show the brake fluid capacity
I have just gone through my Honda maintenance manual and cannot see anything on the capacity. Frankly, 1.5 litres sounds way way way too much! I doubt it is even a litre. There is the reservoir you can see in the engine compartment, some long but thin pipes, and the fluid needed to fill the cylinders in the calipers. They are designed not to hold much with new pads. They hold a little more as the pads wear - and that is why there is a reservoir at the pedal end.
Aquila Eagle would know as he would have had the fluid changed when he had new flexible hoses fitted. Rahula may know too as he was having his brakes fiddled with.

Yep, thought it may be useful for diff and gbox capacities.
about a litre should be fine for bleeding the brake system through. Haven't done it on the honda yet, but have done other cars with less than that - depends how much you spill tipping it into the resovoir though!

I'll stick with 1.5 litres to be safe and have some left over then.
Have some goodridge brake lines and ds2500 pads for the ring. Will be buying RBF600 tomorrow. Good stuff isn't it?
Awaiting confirmation on the tran and diff viscosities
