This must be costing an arm and a leg.. Why did you go that route rather than buying a pristine car out of interest?

The paint job looks good

In all honesty looking back at it now; I don't know! Most of the modified parts have been a straight swap off the written off S and as I bought that back for a mere £585 I've sold most of the parts off it to fund the current car.

One of my best mates is a mechanic so we did the engine swap, I've done the rest of the mechanical work myself and Captain Ray is Whaninoz' dad and as we're really good friends too Ray is doing it very cheaply for me, hence it taking so long to be done as its a job on the side rather than something booked in.

So, all in all its not cost a stupid amount and at the time I wanted the new one to look like my old one did as it was only 2 weeks before the accident I got it exactly how I wanted it.

As previously said, I honestly wish I'd never gone down this road though and just bought some nice OEM 17's from an MY04-MY06 car, then just drive and enjoy it!

Captain Ray was interrupted in this endeavour by taking a call from me to book mine in for some work - sorry!
