This must be costing an arm and a leg.. Why did you go that route rather than buying a pristine car out of interest?

One of my best mates is a mechanic so we did the engine swap, I've done the rest of the mechanical work myself and Captain Ray is Whaninoz' dad and as we're really good friends too Ray is doing it very cheaply for me, hence it taking so long to be done as its a job on the side rather than something booked in.
So, all in all its not cost a stupid amount and at the time I wanted the new one to look like my old one did as it was only 2 weeks before the accident I got it exactly how I wanted it.
As previously said, I honestly wish I'd never gone down this road though and just bought some nice OEM 17's from an MY04-MY06 car, then just drive and enjoy it!

I've been up the workshop this morning to do a few little bits and pieces like trimming the arch liner etc ready for things to go back together as quickly as possible early next week. It was bloody freezing though!
