Pfft! You're not a man until you drive it home.....

As Carper hints, i rolled mine in January 2003 after driving onto sheet ice, as all 4 wheels lost grip I thought the car would kiss the banking on the other side of the road and I'd have to get a new front bumper.

Imagine my surprise when it rolled up the bank, paused for a second, then rolled over back onto the road, then onto the wheels again.

My only injury was a bruised arse when I got out of the car and slipped onto it. The first person on the scene jumped out of his car shouting "It's OK, I'm a paramediiiiii" Thud! as he fell on his arse too, then one of the people who helped me push it off the road slipped and bashed his chin on the bootlid, chipping his tooth.

Once I'd recovered and phoned around to find out how to reset the fuel cutoff, I went back and drove the car home, roof down through the village

Here's where it happened (this is the day after, when the ice had broken up, but I was travelling towards the camera at 27mph indicated and slid across the road, going up the bank on the left of the pic and ending up with the passenger side in the hedge on the right).

When I got it home, it looked like this (not as impressive as yours):-

Good luck getting it sorted.

made me laugh too

ny rolling story involved skidding off the road in an M3 (no TC) as a result of over exuberance

damage would have been limited to broken lights and a bit of paint

had I not come to rest on a bent sapling

just as I was thinking how lucky I was

my car did a good imitation of an elevator

rose 5 feet in the air and rolled me neatly onto the roof

cue reshell........

that's an example of being unlucky and lucky in the same incident.

my back end went a bit wide on a bend on the way to my parent's house the other night.. it was wet, a 90 degree bend with no grip but i was only doing 10mph and in second.. when i applied gas i had 'considerable oversteer' corrected by a quick back off and a lot of opposite lock

i think i need some new rears but i'm in for my 54k this week so i'll see what Honda tell me
