Flat Battery, recharge time?

My S is on sorn just now with the battery disconnected, that way there is absolutely no drain on it, best way if you don't need the alarm activated. My local garage told me most modern cars will drain a battery flat in three weeks if not used, just the alarm will do that.
Got one of these a while ago, works well, smart chargers aren't so smart with a completely drained battery!

Change over the smart charger late last night and lit up showing a charge progressing, looks fine this morning so I’ll run it to the end of the drive and let the fans run through a few cycles. Glad I didn’t throw out the ‘standard’ charger.

my battery is flat and jump staring wouldn’t really help although subtle charge was entering.
terminals don’t look great so I’ll give those a good clean and grab this charger because faffing about with the leads and another car is meh
