It can't be much of a problem going on my experience above.

Sikaflex is used for gluing all sorts of bodykits and stuff onto cars, so I reckon someone would have realised by now if it was an issue. Mind you, we are talking about the low-level spoiler, which does nothing but make the car look prettier. Using it for a big grip-inducing wing wouldn't be very sensible.

I reckon if your paint is flaking that badly, the spoiler coming off is the least of your worries.

ha ha ha

I gave up in the end.

All looking good, in the garage, nice and warm, checked fitting, all looked good, adhesive on...

Pressed into place, taped it, adjusted it, held it, pressed it, checked it, adjusted it, happy, pressed, taped, held, but there's too big a gap in the top left corner.

I managed to rip it off and clean it up ok.

I'll be taking it to the bodyshop now, see if they have any better luck.

Got any photo's of this big gap? I bought one last week from RR and currently waiting for it to arrive. Didn't think fitment would be an issue.

PS; Adum, if you search in Google for "racing raven ebay", then you'll find their Ebay shop. Their spoilers are a perfect match for OEM, apart from the bolt holes, which you don't need to use.
Thanks mate, ive had a quick look and the prices seem very reasonable. i couldnt see the front OEM lip on there though.. any idea where to get this?

vti stu - how is the colour match?

it's about 2 mm, but I want it sealed.
Going to get some sikaflex, my mate's going to help me out.

I'm sure it will be ok but I don't trust myself.

Colour match is near on perfect!

Don't know, sorry. I don't think Racing Raven have ever made one.
