Fitting Momo steering wheel boss help
I don't know if anyone can help me..
I've recently picked up a Momo 4930R - S2000 boss, and went to fit it the other day but progress was halted.
Once I'd got the old wheel off, I was the presented with the airbag/horn wire reel (as expected) which had at the '6'o'clock' position a tab measuring approx. 30mm wide, 10mm high and 20mm deep, which the wires come out of.(unexpected)
There is no such recess/provision in the boss to accommodate this tab, so I'm wondering if a)the boss suits an earlier or later S2000 than my 2004 (there is a smaller, quarter circle recess in the boss at the top that seemingly relates to nothing) or if I'm one step short of fitting, and this plastic tab can also be removed and still retain the appropriate wires?
Anyone got an thoughts?

The steering wheels are the same across the various years. Your boss is probably not suitable for the car. The Mugen and ASM bosses have cut outs for the SRS system.
Can you post a picture of the boss?
