Fitting iPod adapter
I am just about to fit a new Head Unit and an iPod Adapter to my car. I am using the fitting guides available on the forum (very good they are too), but the iPod adapter requires power from the 12v system.
Has anyone carried out this fitting on their S? Is there a convenient 12v power connector behind the Head Unit, or somewhere close?
The unit - a Pioneer CD-IB100II - comes with a power connector cable for the job. It has a yellow wire and a black wire. Yellow goes to + and requires 12v power that is always connected regardless of ignition switch. Black goes to ground. The wires end bare.
Any help appreciated

I think that there is a photo in the FAQ that details of when each of them is live.

I fitted one of these myself, I just hooked it into an existing wire - I know you're not supposed to do that but it's a low drain device so I though "f**k it".
Great unit too, works really well.
