Default Fitting a hardtop...

Spoke to a man in honda yesterday and he said that it is a nightmare job to do..

Just wondering if many people have done it and roughly how long did it take coz i asked him would he do it as a nixer and he said that it was too much of a job..

He was mentioning stuff about it being awkard to run a wiring loom from the boot to the cab to get power for a switch..??

Any help appriciated...

its very easy, took me around 3 hours
There is a very easy to follow guide on hardtop guys web site
if its 01 + then all the plugs are there to fit the small loom that comes with the kit
once the rear panels are removed and the centre consul (the one around the hand brake) its easy.
looms are for de activating the soft top motor and rear demist both of which you could live without-I never use the de mist and you can take the fuse out of the soft top

Your car is a 03. The wiring loom is right under the panel when you remove and you only have to plug in the set of wires for the hardtop. Installation of the brackets is only 3 bolts on each side and with some hammering it fits perfectly. There's a small hole from where you will pass the plug for the hardtop. That was the worst of all for me. It's a PITA
